Seeing the transformation of a vehicle that has gone many years without any detailing and then seeing the face of a customer light up when they see their finished car is why I’m so passionate about what I do here at General Auto Film Solutions (G.A.F.S). We strive to hear our customers say things like “that looks better than when I bought it.” The same joy happens when we apply automotive film solutions and tint windows. Our customers love the way their car looks and often say, “I don’t feel like I’m driving around in a fishbowl anymore.” The bottom line is, whether it’s paint protection film in Birmingham or vehicle film applications, our customers love their cars when they get them back from us. That’s why we do this.
My name is Alex. Born and raised in Honduras, I moved here in my 20s. Now, I’m married to my amazing wife, and we have four beautiful children. We are truly blessed and rely on our faith every day. In 2006, I began working in this business under an incredible boss who taught me a lot. I also learned what I didn’t want to do in my own business. For many years, I worked in mobile car detailing in Pelham, AL, going to customers’ offices and homes. Weather and space were constant challenges, so I decided to work with dealerships at their locations. However, this meant I couldn’t work with individuals anymore, and I realized my business was no longer growing with the personal touch I valued. In 2013, I took a leap of faith and opened my own shop in Pelham, AL, offering premium auto solutions like custom auto filmz and window tinting in Birmingham.
Here we are today at General Auto, serving our customers with paint protection and enhancing the look of each and every vehicle that comes through our doors with film auto and custom auto film services. We look forward to serving you with our general film solutions! To learn more about us, call us at 205-296-3341!
